BCSF can always use an extra hand at its activities. Helping BCSF is a great opportunity to gain experience and utilize your skills for the greater good of our community.

Students: your volunteer service with us can be part of the forty hours which you require for community service.

Volunteers: we are always looking for kind people to volunteer at our annual events:

1. End of year Dinner Dance :
   • coat checkers
   • greeters
   • food service team
   • ticket counters
   • set-up crew
2. Walkathon :
   • marshals
   • registration booth
   • water bottle dispensers
3. Night at the Races (must be over 18 years of age):
   • greeters
   • set-up crew
   • ticket counters

• Designated event photographer: perfect assignment for graphics design student or avid photographer.
• Translators: for communications materials.
• P.R. person. Must have some media experience.
• Black History Month Coordinator: Coordinate and organize the guest speakers for Black History Month school speakers program.
• Walkathon Assistant-Coordinator, Awards Ceremony Assistant-Coordinator,
• Social media person
