Viviane Pani, recipient of the Founder's Award just graduated from Collège catholique Franco-ouest where she was a traight "A" student and she is only 16 ! She is originally from Cameroon and arrived in Canada in 2003 as a child. She is very involved in the Community. She is one of the Editors of L'Express d'Ottawa and is interested in political science and philosophy.
Tatiana Thelusma just graduated from Collège catholique Samuel-Genest. She is planning to become a physiotherapist and will study at the University of Ottawa. She has been involved as a volunteer in the organization of "olympiades" for young people with a mental or a physical disorder. She also took part in the March of Dimes and volunteered at a residence for elderly people.
Lamar McCormack just graduated from Colonel By secondary school. He is a member of the Be More Academy, a branch program of Dreads and Baldheads and was a facilitator in February 2011 at the Black Youth Conference Day. Lamar is an active member of the Be More Leadership Academy, a youth friendly space established by black youth for black youth. He works hard at mentoring youth.
