What it means to win a BCSF bursary...

"I will work hard to succeed, not just for me but for my parents who sacrificed everything for me."
As spring changes into early summer it will be time again to share camaraderie and a pleasant stroll through the Central Experimental Farm.
This year the event will take place on Saturday, June 5th, 2010 starting, as usual, at Merivale Road at Central Park on McCooey Lane. Registration begins at 9.00am; with a start time of 9.30 am.
Once again, all funds raised will support our initiative of assisting young black youth in the Ottawa community meet their higher education aspirations. The success record of our past bursary recipients justifies our vision.
In the interest of increasing our number of participants, we ask you to invite some of your friends to join us as well for a fresh summer morning of health-oriented fun.
We look forward to enjoying your company.
Thank you.
